Arrival Day

First Evening in Istanbul — The Bosphorus at Dusk

Check into your five-star hotel and step outside into the beating heart of Istanbul. Stroll to the waterfront at Eminönü, eat a fresh balık ekmek (fish sandwich) from one of the bobbing boats, and watch the ferries cutting through the Bosphorus as the minarets of the Old City begin to glow against the evening sky. Istanbul introduces itself on its own terms — and it never disappoints.

Day 2

Istanbul Old City — Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapı Palace & Grand Bazaar

Full Day Exploration

Hagia Sophia & the Sultan Ahmet Mosque (Blue Mosque)

Begin at Hagia Sophia — one of the greatest buildings in human history, a sixth-century Byzantine basilica turned mosque, its soaring dome rising 56 metres above the Sultanahmet district. Walk 200 metres to the iconic Blue Mosque — officially the Sultan Ahmet Mosque — named for the 20,000 hand-painted Iznik tiles lining its interior in shades of cobalt that glow in the light filtering through 260 windows.

Included · Afternoon

Topkapı Palace & the Grand Bazaar

Tour Topkapı Palace — the seat of the Ottoman Empire for 400 years, housing the Imperial Treasury, sacred relics of the Prophet, and the legendary Harem. Walk the cobblestone lanes to the Grand Bazaar — one of the world’s oldest and largest covered markets, with over 4,000 shops selling carpets, spices, ceramics, gold, and leather goods across 61 covered streets.

Optional Add-On

Basilica Cistern & Spice Bazaar

Descend underground to the Basilica Cistern — a sixth-century cathedral-sized reservoir of 336 marble columns reflected in still black water, with two Medusa-head column bases watching silently in the far corners. Then browse the Egyptian Spice Bazaar for saffron, Turkish delight, dried fruits, and the finest baklava in the city.

Day 3

Day Tour to Bursa — Ancient Ottoman Capital

Day Tour Included
Your full-day guided tour to Bursa — including transport, guide, and ferry crossing — is fully included in your package. Return to Istanbul in the evening.
Included · Full-Day Tour

Bursa — Green Mosque, Grand Bazaar & Uludağ Cable Car

Cross the Sea of Marmara by ferry to reach Bursa — the first capital of the Ottoman Empire and a UNESCO-listed city of extraordinary historical richness. Visit the magnificent Green Mosque (Yeşil Cami), its interior adorned with the finest Iznik tilework ever produced. Browse the ancient Kapalıçarşı (Grand Bazaar) and the silk markets of Koza Han — Turkey’s most important historical silk trading house, built in 1491. Ascend Mount Uludağ by cable car for sweeping views over the city and Marmara below.

Local Flavour

Lunch: İskender Kebab — Bursa's Greatest Gift to Turkish Cuisine

Bursa is the birthplace of the İskender kebab — thinly sliced döner lamb served over torn flatbread, drenched in rich tomato sauce and browned butter, with a side of yogurt. The original recipe was invented here in 1867, and eating it in Bursa at one of the old family restaurants is a culinary pilgrimage. Do not miss it.

Day 4

Day Tour to the Princes' Islands & Bosphorus Dinner Cruise

Both Included Today
The Princes’ Islands day tour and the Bosphorus dinner cruise are both fully included in your Voyex package — one of your most memorable days of the entire trip.
Included · Morning

Princes' Islands — Büyükada by Ferry

Board a ferry from Kabataş pier and sail south through the Sea of Marmara to the Princes’ Islands — nine car-free islands of Victorian villas, pine forests, and horse-drawn carriages. The largest and most beautiful, Büyükada, feels like stepping into Ottoman Istanbul a century ago. Rent a bicycle or board a fayton (horse carriage) to tour the island’s grand wooden mansions, visit the Monastery of Saint George on the hilltop, and swim from the rocky coves in the clear Marmara water.

Included · Evening

Bosphorus Dinner Cruise with Entertainment

As the sun sets over the minarets, board a traditional wooden cruise boat for an unforgettable evening on the Bosphorus — the strait that divides Europe from Asia. A sumptuous dinner of Turkish mezze, grilled fish, and traditional desserts is served as the boat glides past the illuminated Dolmabahçe Palace, the Rumeli Fortress, the Bosphorus Bridge, and the glittering waterfront mansions (yalılar) of Istanbul’s finest neighbourhoods. Turkish folk music and a belly dance performance complete the night.

Day 5

Free Day in Istanbul — Galata, Beyoğlu & the Modern City

Free Day

Explore Istanbul's Modern Side

Spend your final Istanbul morning across the Golden Horn in the modern neighbourhoods of Beyoğlu and Galata. Climb the 14th-century Galata Tower for panoramic views across the Old City. Stroll the vibrant pedestrian boulevard of İstiklal Avenue — 1.4 kilometres of galleries, bookshops, cafés, and churches. Browse the antique shops of Çukurcuma, visit the Museum of Innocence, or simply find a tea garden and watch the city move at its own unhurried pace.

Optional Add-On

Turkish Hammam Experience

Visit one of Istanbul’s historic Ottoman bath houses — the Çağaloğlu Hamamı (built 1741) or the Ayasofya Hürrem Sultan Hamamı (built 1556) — for the complete Turkish bathing ritual: steam room, kese (exfoliating mitt) scrub, full-body soap massage, and a rest in the marble cooling room. One of the most indulgent experiences in all of Turkey.

In the afternoon, visit the Göreme Open-Air Museum — a UNESCO World Heritage site of rock-cut churches and monasteries painted with Byzantine frescoes dating back to the 10th century. Walk among the towering fairy chimneys — volcanic rock pillars sculpted by millennia of erosion into surreal mushroom-shaped formations that give this landscape its otherworldly character.

Included · Sunset

Sunset at Uçhisar Castle & Rose Valley Viewpoint

One of the most dramatic and photogenic moments of the entire trip.

The most unforgettable hour of your entire holiday.

Descend 55 metres underground into Derinkuyu — an astonishing subterranean city carved from soft volcanic rock by early Christians, capable of sheltering up to 20,000 people with stables, churches, wine cellars, and ventilation shafts. Then walk through the spectacular Ihlara Valley — a 14-kilometre gorge carved by the Melendiz River, its walls dotted with rock-cut churches and frescoes, lush greenery creating a dramatic contrast with the arid landscape above.

Included · Afternoon

Devrent Imagination Valley & Pottery Workshop in Avanos

Stroll through Devrent Valley — Cappadocia’s most surreal rock formation landscape, where the wind has sculpted the tufa into shapes resembling camels, dolphins, and prehistoric creatures. Continue to Avanos — the pottery capital of Turkey, where red clay from the Kızılırmak River has been used to create ceramics for over 4,000 years. Try your hand at the potter’s wheel under the guidance of a master ceramicist.

Optional Add-On · Evening

Turkish Night — Folk Dance, Whirling Dervishes & Dinner

A spectacular cultural evening in a historic Cappadocian cave venue — traditional Turkish folk dances from different regions, the hypnotic Sema ceremony of the Whirling Dervishes, live saz music, and a generous dinner of Cappadocian specialities including testi kebab (meat slow-cooked in a sealed clay pot, smashed open at the table). An evening of culture, colour, and unforgettable flavour.
